The encoder-head is less than 1 mm thick and weight less than 0.2 grams.
Linear encoders are available with a resolution from 0.3 mm down to 20 nm and speed from 10 mm/s up to 40 m/s.
Rotary encoders are available with a resolution from 128 up to 65536 pulses per revolution at a maximum speed of 2500 up to 40000 RPM.
The codewheels and linear scales consist of an FR4-substrate with high-precision copper patterns. They do not attract ferromagnetic particles, are insensitive to humidity, grease, liquids, don’t need to be cleaned for correct operation and function flawlessly inside strong magnetic fields (e.g. inside an electric drive). A variety of standard scales and codewheels are available from stock.
