SENSOR+TEST 2025 - Microtech Gefell at the leading international trade fair for measuring, testing and monitoring technologies

26 May 2025

This year's industry get-together once again impressed with its technological depth, practical applications and lively innovation dialogue.

With a clear focus on sensor, measuring and testing technology, the SENSOR+TEST in Nuremberg from 6 to 8 May 2025 proved its role as a leading international trade fair and central industry get-together. In the midst of global challenges, it demonstrated the performance and innovative strength of the industry and how important it is for the development of new technologies.

348 exhibitors from 24 nations, around 5,000 high-quality trade visitors, 546 congress participants and a total of around 8,000 trade fair participants used the three exhibition days to exchange information on current developments, practical applications and future technology trends.

Innovative solutions from the fields of acoustic measurement and testing technology were presented, such as analogue and digital weatherproof microphone units for stationary and mobile noise monitoring, outdoor long-term measurements or analysing environmental and traffic noise.

In addition to high-end measurement microphones, measurement microphone capsules, measurement amplifiers, calibrators, sound intensity probes, sound power hemispheres and more, MTG also presented complete turnkey solutions for special indoor and outdoor test bench projects worldwide.

The newly developed MV 240 USB digital measurement microphone with an extended range of applications attracted particular interest.

With the MV 240 USB, Microtech Gefell is launching a measuring microphone amplifier in a class of its own.

The MV 240 USB is a measurement microphone amplifier with an integrated 2x 32-bit gain-ranging AD converter for externally polarised or pre-polarised measurement microphone capsules. The digital 32-bit output signal with up to 192 kHz sampling frequency corresponds to calibrated sound pressure values and reproduces more than the entire dynamic range of a measurement microphone capsule.

The MV 240 USB is automatically recognised under Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Power is supplied directly via the USB interface.
