Indirect temperature measurement with heat flux sensors

30 April 2015

greenTEG AG: Measuring temperature of specific locations within a system can be challenging. This is typically the case when space is restricted, the location is impossible to reach, or when the desired location is moving. Common examples where these situations occur are:

  • Temperature measurements inside moving components (e.g. in bearings)
  • Temperature measurements inside an organism (e.g. in a human)
  • Temperature measurements at a specific radius inside a reaction vessel

gSKIN® Heat Flux Sensors can be applied to any system to make indirect temperature measurements.
