New compact, low-cost PS28A and PS40A kit-encoders

Pewatron: The new lost-cost PS28A and PS40A rotary encoders have a compact design thanks to optical reflective technology. Just 28mm in diameter for the PS28A and 40mm for the PS40A, these rotary encoders can also be used in space-critical situations. Both models have push-pull signals (line drivers). They are optionally available with continuous hollow shafts.

The PS28A can be used in applications with up to 2500 pulses / rotation; for higher values of up to 4096 pulses / rotation the PS40A is a good choice. Both models are also available with mounting tabs and are very easy to install. These lost-cost models are ideal for laboratory equipment, robotics, automation systems and in general for precise stepper motor responses.
