WIKA and KROHNE expand strategic partnership
Cooperation in the field of temperature measurement
WIKA and KROHNE, both global manufacturers of measurement technology, will intensify their strategic cooperation. WIKA is now KROHNE’s exclusive partner for the temperature product area. KROHNE can offer its customers the complete portfolio of WIKA and thus a wider product range, more application experience as well as more approvals, certifications and services for temperature measuring instruments. In the future, WIKA will also contribute its expertise as a renowned and reliable partner for temperature measurement in joint customer projects. Mechanical and electronic temperature measurement has been one of WIKA’s core competences for decades.
The strategic partnership also involves the complete acquisition of INOR Process AB by WIKA. INOR is a specialist in temperature measurement based in Malmö, Sweden. The company employs 60 people and has been part of the KROHNE Group since 2006. Within the WIKA Group, INOR will continue to develop, manufacture and distribute high-precision temperature sensors and transmitters for industrial applications.
“In our industry, INOR stands for a high-quality portfolio of temperature measuring instruments,” says Alexander Wiegand, CEO of the WIKA Group. “With this acquisition, we are strengthening our long-standing, successful cooperation with KROHNE. At the same time, we are expanding our own presence in the Scandinavian market. Combined know-how, global infrastructures and a joint network – the strategic cooperation between KROHNE and WIKA brings numerous advantages, especially for customers.”
