TURCK Receives Cyber Security Certificate

Certification according to IEC 62443-4-1 confirms TURCK's secure, structured development processes

Mülheim, October 9, 2025 – TURCK has had its development processes for industrial automation and control systems certified according to the IEC 62443-4-1 security standard. The certification was issued by TÜV Nord and confirms the introduction of the highest security standards throughout the entire product development cycle. TURCK has achieved Maturity Level 2, which demonstrates structured documentation and implementation of security measures in the development process. TURCK thus underscores its commitment to security by design and creates additional transparency and trust for customers worldwide.

IEC 62443-4-1 specifies how manufacturers must develop, test, and maintain security-related software and systems – a key component for protecting networked production environments. The certification is an important milestone with regard to the EU's Cyber Resilience Act, whose requirements will be mandatory for digital products from the end of 2027.
