Foundation of Micro-Epsilon Korea

With the new subsidiary in Seongnam-si, Micro-Epsilon strengthens its presence in Asia. The leading supplier of high quality sensor products now provides direct application support for Korean customers.

Micro-Epsilon is among the leading sensor manufacturers worldwide. For more than 50 years, the company has continuously offered reliable, high performance, unique solutions for inline quality inspection. The sensor manufacturer is continuously growing and now expands its presence in Asia with the foundation of the Micro-Epsilon Korea subsidiary. The new office is located in the high-tech location of Seongnam in the immediate vicinity of the capital Seoul.

Korean customers will be directly supported by the Micro-Epsilon sales and application engineers. The office includes an application laboratory for on-site test measurements and evaluations. In addition, the successful cooperation with the long-standing Korean distribution partner KAIS will continue.

The new location strengthens the Micro-Epsilon brand as a high-tech solution partner in Korea. In addition to precise sensors, particularly for OEM projects, the company also offers customer-specific solutions as well as turnkey systems including comprehensive on-site consulting. The focus is on high precision sensors and measuring systems that are used, for example, in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics production, battery production and automation.
