Colibrys officially in production at Yverdon-les-Bains

Colibrys announces the official release of its production activities at its new manufacturing site Av. des Sciences 13, 1400 Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland.

After a successful move from Neuchâtel, Colibrys has now restarted the manufacturing of its products at Yverdon-les-Bains in the technoparc Y-parc. The company inaugurated its new building last January in the presence of local officials. The production line equipment, the processes and the final products successfully passed a thorough in-house qualification procedure. As of today, the Swiss company proudly announces their production facility is fully operational, achieved on time and respecting the project’s initial schedule.

Colibrys is a world leading manufacturer of high performance micro-motion sensors based on MEMS technology. Thanks to advanced methods of fabrication, assembly and packaging techniques, Colibrys is able to supply reliable sensors resisting the harshest environments. These products are mainly used in aerospace, energy and defence.

This new relocation will reinforce the company as a World-Class leader. Patrick Gougeon, CEO of Colibrys quotes “This new facility will allow Colibrys to support its activities in the coming years. With the aim to guarantee a smooth transition from Neuchâtel, the company established a product stock large enough to avoid any delay in deliveries. Colibrys was able to reach its zero impact objectives to the satisfaction of their customers, distributors and partners. Even a dedicated website has been created, ensuring a lean communication between all the stakeholders. All the products are now developed in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland.
