WinControl: The software for all ALMEMO® measuring devices

The WinControl program was specially developed for recording and processing measured values with ALMEMO® measuring devices. The Windows interface and context-sensitive online help guarantee quick familiarization and convenient operation of the program.

The WinControl software can be flexibly adapted to any project and offers numerous assistants, both for special measuring tasks and for calibrations. Two of these are presented below:

Assistant for calibrating measuring sensors

The multi-level sensor calibration is self-defined via calibration programs with a setpoint list and stability criterion. A calibrator can be controlled via the setpoint specification. The special feature: With the WinControl software, any number of measuring points can be calibrated simultaneously and the measured values are recorded automatically. If the stability criterion is met, an adjustable number of values per calibration step is saved. If required (e.g. for further processing), the values can be exported as an AMR, CSV or Excel file. For a clear overview, the progress is displayed in an overview window.

Assistant for the calibration of climate chambers

Calibration in accordance with the DAkkS-DKD-R 5-7 guideline can be optimally realized with the WinControl software. Methods A and B with 9 or more measuring points are available with the assistant. The calibration of temperature and humidity functions fully automatically over any number of steps with a stability criterion. The local humidity at the temperature measuring points is calculated taking into account the air pressure and dew point. The dew point mirrors from MBW, DewMaster, DewTrans and Michell are also supported. Climate chambers (Weiss/Vötsch, CTS, Memmert, Binder, ESPEC, ATT and Feutron) can be directly integrated for setpoint specification and measured value recording.

Either the online function during the measurement or the offline function after the measurement is used to display and document the measured values. The WinControl software automatically creates an Excel report with all measured values, measurement uncertainties and the measurement uncertainty budgets. The user can easily adapt the Excel report template to their needs.
