All new ultrasonic brochure

The specialist for ultrasonic sensors SNT Sensortechnik AG launches to the start of the new year a completely new overview brochure. Ultrasonic sensors are used in the industry for measuring distance and as proximity switches. Their advantages compared to optical, inductive and capacitive sensors are the following:

• Measurement independent of material, surface, color and size of target
• Work under dust, dirt, fog, bright light
• Detect transparent and bright objects
• Sense laminary (and not only punctual)

Scanner mode sensors are explained by their typical applications, retroreflective and through beam barriers as well as fork sensors. The detection distances range from a few millimeters to more than 5 meters.
