New generation: digital modules in action, Ensure stability of concrete pumps

On a building site, all trades and workers often have tight time schedules and sometimes they will not wait until e.g. concrete pumps with booms of up to 50 m are fully stabilized and safely positioned. Time is money after all!

The new generation of MicroControl’s digital CAN modules helps to prevent concrete pumps from tipping over, as the robust 8-channel CAN bus modules control the vehicle’s supports and release the boom only if all supports have reached a stable position.

What a party: 30 years of CiA!
Uwe Koppe re-elected technical director

Over the past 30 years, the user organization CiA has turned into an important player in the development of CAN products. More than 730 members and over 25,000 pages of specifications and recommendations have been issued so far – to highlight just a few expressive figures.

In the two-day event at the beginning of June with its interesting talks and lectures, a log of future projects were presented and discussed. MicroControl CEO, Uwe Koppe, did ont only take the audience to a cinematic tour of CANopen FD, but has also been re-elected as CiA Technical Director. Som MicroControl will stay at the pulse of time.
