Xsens is proud to present its new corporate design

After almost ten years Xsens presents a new logo that better reflects the growth and ambition of our company - while respecting our technology and innovation driven roots. We feel that the new logo perfectly represents Xsens: a group of talented people dedicated to deliver cutting-edge inertial motion tracking products with best-in-class performance and outstanding quality to you, our valued client.

The heart of our technology is the sensor that measures rotational motion. The gyroscope, a concept known for centuries, is in its miniaturized form a very powerful sensor. Combined with even smaller accelerometers and aiding sensor technologies, the gyroscope is the foundation of our technology - and of our logo. But the logo has more: the sphere represents the world, a world in motion. Also we honor our original Xsens logo by keeping both the X and the dot alive (engineers know that X-dot stands for velocity). And last but not least, the new logo is 3D. Xsens is all about 3D, and the logo shows that perspective matters.

We have also decided to re-group all our business under one brand - Xsens. The common denominator between the diverse markets we serve, ranging from inertial measurement units for robot stabilization to motion capture systems for game developers, is Xsens’ sensor fusion core. Knowledge we gain for camera stabilization is used in underwater sonar systems, solutions for biomechanics research are applied in the film industry. The underlying core algorithms and sensor technologies all correlate and as a result we broaden our horizon and keep inventing new products in existing and in new markets. A consequence of this one-brand strategy is that we cease using the Moven brand for our motion capture products, and bring them back to the Xsens family under the name Xsens MVN.
