Welcome back to Nuremberg

Welcome back to Nuremberg

11 February 2022

Almost three months before the opening, preparations for SENSOR+TEST from May 10 to 12, 2022 are in full swing. The organization team is preparing intensively for the reunion of the community. The leading international trade fair for sensor, measuring and testing technology will again be held at the exhibition center in Nuremberg after two years of purely digital events. More than 300 exhibitors are expected at the Innovation Dialog.

"At last we will be able to welcome our exhibitors and visitors again in the exhibition halls in Nuremberg in May. After two years, the SENSOR+TEST is thus coming home as a presence event," Holger Bödeker, Managing Director of AMA Service GmbH, is pleased to say. With the progressive lifting of many restrictions worldwide, the interest of international exhibitors in particular has also grown considerably. Hall 1 is already very well filled and numerous other companies are waiting in the wings to present their innovations on site in Nuremberg. So far 275 exhibitors have registered and new ones are being added daily. The organizer therefore expects a total of well over 300 participating companies from Germany and abroad this year. And the companies and institutes have already announced a large number of innovations.

There are still free places, but interested parties should not take too much time with their registration. "Especially for small and medium-sized German innovative companies, participation is very attractive, because they can apply for very special subsidies for stand construction and stand rental through the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy," explains Holger Bödeker.

In Hall 2, the ettc2022 European Test and Telemetry Conference (http://www.ettc2022.org), the most important international platform for telemetry, telecontrol, test instrumentation and data processing, will be held for the fourth time parallel to SENSOR+TEST. Participants will experience the important role telemetry technologies play for applications in current industrial developments.

"First mover" in the industry

The exhibitors’ committee, which expressly welcomes and considers feasible the staging of SENSOR+TEST in May 2022 subject to appropriate compliance with hygiene measures, is also looking forward to experiencing the world of sensor and measurement technology live on site. "Especially for our small and medium-sized companies, the return to the presence fair this year is more important than ever to strengthen contacts with active and potential customers," explains Christoph Kleye, Chairman of the Exhibitors’ Committee. Due to the cancellation of numerous technology trade fairs or their postponement to dates in the summer, SENSOR+TEST 2022 will be the first electronics trade fair to return to the starting line after the Corona forced break, he said. "We are the first movers in the industry, so to speak. This is because our exhibitors will be presenting their exciting innovations live for the first time, which they have developed and launched on the market in recent months," Christoph Kleye continues.

SENSOR+TEST 2022 with strong program - also digital

The SENSOR+TEST has been on the move digitally for several years already. This year, companies and visitors can therefore not only use the presence trade fair for an intensive exchange with experts, but also again the digital channels throughout the year. "Via the website https://www.sensor-test.com, the regular newsletters and the relevant social media channels, we always provide up-to-date reports on new products, trends and innovations from sensor and measurement technology," says Holger Bödeker. "In this way, we underline the importance of SENSOR+TEST as a leading trade fair."
