New systems for the measurement of compressed air

New systems for the measurement of compressed air

15 February 2009

SONOTEC: Saving energy is an important issue for all types of industry operating with compressed air. The new probes of the SONOAIR series, belonging to our high-precision measurement devices, are equipped with a lot of new details. These probes are able to detect the consumption of compressed air and non-combustible gases as well as leakage losses. There exist three different device series: Inline probes for pipe diameters of 15 – 50 mm, insertion probes for pipes with a diameter between 50 and 1000 mm and combined devices. The latter do not only detect the flow rate but also the temperature and the pressure within the pipe. For on-site interpretations there exist integrated displays or interfaces for using a PC or a Laptop. Alternatively, the measured data can also be stored on a data logger or a memory card.

The systems can be installed easily. They show a high measuring accuracy. The additional software allows external data interpretations as well as detailed process controls.
