Optimal light spots for every application

Leuze electronic has designed the new HRTR 25B-S reflection light scanner with focussed light spot optimally for the detection of glossy surfaces – and equipped the HRTR 25B-XL scanner with an extra large light spot for positioning tasks at the same time. For many users, this is an interesting split within the powerful 25B series.

The S design enables reliable detection of objects with glossy and differently structured surfaces with its focussed light spot. The XL design is the top device for positioning tasks due to the large light spot. With this sensor, exact edge detection and positioning is also possible on glossy, perforated metallic surfaces as well as on rack bars and stands. In addition, the large lights spot of the XL design is optimally suited for the detection of not completely closed containers.

Reflection light scanners with background suppression of the 25B sensor series from Leuze electronic are characterized particularly through their scanning range limits of up to 1000 mm. With their large adjustment range starting at 50 mm, they offer a high level of flexibility for a large application spectrum – a huge advantage for many users, since they don't have to choose larger sensor variants in most cases. The devices are compact, i.e. they save space during installation and facilitate exact switching behavior with reliable object detection due to their minimal black/white difference.
