HCL Miniature Low Pressure Sensors for Ultra Stable and Accurate Measurements

HCL Miniature Low Pressure Sensors for Ultra Stable and Accurate Measurements

02 March 2008

Sensortechnics’ HCL pressure sensors measure low gage or differential pressures from 5 … 75 mbar. These devices are precision calibrated and temperature compensated and offer ratiometric mV output signals. They use a special compensation technology to achieve a very high offset stability and virtually no position sensitivity in comparison to conventional sensors.

The HCL pressure sensors feature a high input resistance and are ideal for portable device applications. A wide range of miniature SMT, single inline (SIP) and dual inline (DIP) housing options allow for space-saving PCB-mounting and maximum OEM design flexibility. Sensortechnics can provide very fast and flexible HCL sensor modifications based on customer specific requirements.

Important features of the new HCL series are:

  • Gage or differential pressure measurement from 5 … 75 mbar
  • Precision calibrated and temperature compensated
  • Very high offset stability and virtually no position sensitivity
  • Miniature SMT, SIP and DIP housing options

HCL pressure sensors offer OEM customers precision pressure measurement for a wide range of applications. Typical examples include medical devices such as ventilators, respirators or anaesthesia machines as well as environmental controls and HVAC applications.
