Leuze electronic: The Safexpert Safety Engineering Software guides the user through the conformity procedure in just a few steps and assists in the analysis of hazards and with the risk assessment. The new Safexpert version 7.0 takes into account the changes and additions in the relevant standards, e.g. in machinery directive 2006/42/EC or standard EN ISO 13849-1.

The new guide in accordance with machinery directive 2006/42/EC contains, among other items, checklists for compiling technical files for machinery and "partly completed machinery" acc. to Annex VII. In addition, the guide offers a separate tab for requirements and measures with respect to internal checks on the manufacture of machinery for the assessment of conformity acc. to Annex VIII. Furthermore, version 7.0 includes new hazards lists with updated cross-references to current passages in standards and directives as well as an interface to the SISTEMA software program, developed by the BGIA, with which safety controls can be dimensioned acc. to EN ISO 13849-1. The user can download the BGIA software with integrated Leuze electronic product database at no charge from www.leuze.de/sistema. Safexpert automatically transfers all necessary data to the SISTEMA project. The Leuze electronic safety components selected in SISTEMA are accepted into the Safexpert parts list when the program is closed.
