Ready, steady, I'm there already: Rapid 125 Hz Switching Frequency

microsonic: High counting frequencies, short reaction times – no problem at all for the zws-7 sensor.

The typical switching frequencies of ultrasonic sensors – 2 to 25 Hz - depend on the range. However these frequencies do not suffice in many applications. To meet these particular requirements, microsonic has developed the zws-7 ultrasonic sensor. It scans objects at a maximum 100 mm detecting range with a switching frequency of up to 125 Hz in keeping with DIN EN 60947-5-2.

This allows both detection of objects with a high counting frequency and extremely narrow gaps between two objects at fast machinery speeds. The zws-7 responds under 3 ms.

Additionally fitting the new SoundPipe to the zws-7 would markedly raise the power to detect narrow gaps between two objects at high machine speeds.
