The Packaging Excellence Center (PEC) welcomed two new board members. One of them, namely Andreas Eberle, Key Account Food & Beverage, comes from optical sensor manufacturer Leuze electronic from Owen.

Owen, August 4, 2017 – Leuze electronic provides one of the two new board members for the Packaging Excellence Center: Andreas Eberle, Key Account Food & Beverage. World market leaders from packaging machine manufacturing, suppliers, universities and other public institutions have teamed up in the PEC. The aim is to increase the competitiveness of the member companies and improve the networking of the packaging and automation industry and its partners. Since it was established 10 years ago, the PEC has successfully established itself a network in the Stuttgart region, and is growing continuously. "It is very important to us to work in a network such as the PEC, because this is the only way to recognize future opportunities and developments for the industry in a timely manner and move forward", says Andreas Eberle. "The independent cooperation between mechanical engineers, component manufacturers, trade associations and universities create valuable synergy effects, which are crucial for the Baden-Württemberg economy at the present time. The PEC provides the opportunity to network and exchange ideas about current packaging systems and future technologies and trends." The Packaging Excellence Center supports its members in the implementation of innovations and initiates collaborative projects, events, workshops and conferences. Others tasks are education and training initiatives, making it easier to access national and European subsidies and organize joint theme days at trade fairs.
