For pressure measuring at extreme temperatures in the beverage industry: Baumer pressure transmitter PBMH

The beverage industry too can now profit from consistently precise pressure measuring and completely dependable temperature stability offered by Baumer. The manufacturer’s PBMH pressure transmitter has 3-A and EHEDG certificates and is one of the most compact of the hygienic pressure sensors now on the market.

The PBMH was specifically developed for use at extreme media temperatures ranging from -40 to 125 degrees Celsius. With an optionally available cooling line, it can even measure media at temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celsius. At the same time, active temperature compensation restricts temperature error in the specified temperature range to a very low level. The PBMH covers a wide measuring range of -0.1…0.1 bar to 0…400 bar. In addition, the transmitters are ATEX-certified and extremely resistant to shocks and vibration. The greater mounting flexibility permitted by their small dimensions is yet another advantage.

The PBMH is therefore ideally qualified for beverage filling applications such as hydrostatic level measuring or filling-volume monitoring.

PBMH pressure transmitters have a 1.4404/AISI 316L stainless steel housing and are available with several flush-mounted process connections, which are likewise 3-A certified. They are therefore compatible not only with all other Baumer hygienic products but also with a major share of industrially customary installations of products from other manufacturers. This grants the user a great deal of flexibility and economicity, since he can install a new PBMH pressure transmitter without having to replace other components.
