Interference signal compensation for inclination measurement in highly dynamic processes

Micro-Sensor: Mechanical vibrations or accelerating forces of moving parts cause adversing interferences in the measurement of inclination. This reduces the quality of the sensor signal. So far, conventional low-pass filters have been used for interference suppression in order to reduce these effects and increase the signal quality. The disadvantage of this approach is a considerable delay in the measurement signal due to the characteristics of the low-pass filter.

With the fusion of two sensor principles, we have developed the solution to this challenge: Micro-sensor inclination sensors with SensorFUSION technology offer the trade-off between sufficient interference suppression and short response time by adapting the cut-off frequency.
