Magneto-Resistive Sensors for Speed or Rotational Direction Control with 25 kHz response

Magneto-Resistive Sensors for Speed or Rotational Direction Control with 25 kHz response

18 February 2014

Magneto-Resistive Sensors from RECHNER Sensors are ideal for the rotational speed control of ferromagnetic toothed gear wheels or cams. The high switching frequency of up to 25 kHz is a significant advantage over other sensors.

These high speed devices have a wide range of applications. Magneto-Resistive Sensors (MRS) can detect the speed and the direction of rotary motion in machines, engines, gear boxes in all types of vehicles such as: racing cars, trucks, agricultural vehicles, forklift trucks, construction machines and cranes; as well as in many other applications.

Our MRS Sensors reliably provide speed detection of gear wheels from Module 4 down to Module 1 and are available in M12 x 1 and M18 x 1 body sizes in robust stainless steel or plastic (PA) housings.
