Ultrasonic fork sensors with binary output

Ultrasonic fork sensors with binary output

14 April 2010

SNT Sensortechnik AG: The UPF-A ultrasonic fork sensors were offered so far with 0...10V analogue output. It is possible to measure the edge position for web guide control.

The same sensors are now available on demand with a PNP binary output (NO or NC) as well. This can be used e.g for counting parts on small conveyors. Ultrasonic sensors are superior to optical fork sensors when targets have to be detected in dusty and dirty environemt. The sensors with PNP output have an M8 4-pin connector with built-in LED for status indication.

More and much slimer ultrasonic fork sensors with binary output will follow soon.

SNT Sensortechnik AG is a specialist in ultrasonic sensors for more than 20 years.
