Capacitive analogue sensors with 4...20 mA and 0...10 V output

05 February 2016

RECHNER Sensors has updated its range of capacitive analogue sensors. The new generation provides both output options in the same sensor 4...20 mA and 0...10 V. The choice of models include cylindrical variants with metric threads M12 x1, M18 x 1, M30 x 1,5 and M32 x 1,5, along with smooth bodies with20, 30 and 50 mm diameter housings and also rectangular models with 120 x 80 mm bodies.

The application areas for capacitive analogue sensors are as multifaceted as for the classic binary sensors. Capacitive analogue sensors are ideal for level control or position control and allow the user the possibility of acquiring more detailed information about the status of their process. They are important elements in quality control. They serve as control units for wearing parts and assist for instance in automatic readjustments due to wearing parts and will give a signal when the wearing part needs to be exchanged.  Capacitive analogue sensors help to make the production processes more efficient.
