Multifunctional Current Converters of the HJ-A series

Multifunctional Current Converters of the HJ-A series

22 April 2010

PEWATRON: The Current Converters of the HJ-A series excel by their multifunctionality, their digital interface and the little space they require on a mounting rail.

The sensors of the HJ-A series meter the root mean square value (true RMS) of the current of 1 to 3 phases, as desired, and optionally also the voltage, the effective power and reactive power, the energy in kWh as well as the frequency and the power factor (cos φ). It is possible to measure currents from 1 to 50 amperes and voltages of up to 500 V. The sensors of the HJ-A series can be powered with 5, 12, 24, 48 VDC or 230 VAC. The measured results can be conveniently transmitted to a control system via a digital interface (RS-485 or RS-232C) and be evaluated there. The interface is electrically isolated from the measuring line and, if desired, also from the supply line.

Due to their excellent durability (MTBF > 30.000 h), the sensors are particularly suited for use in automation. The sensors of the HJ-A series offer a simple and reliable way to monitor currents and voltages.
