Leuze electronic expands its product range in the area of safety at work. With the new generation of programmable safety controls and the expanded line of safety relays, Leuze electronic offers safe solutions for all applications in machine and system construction. Together with the wide range of safety sensors, the perfectly matched safety components offer complete safety-related automation solutions for a wide range of machine types.

Owen, October 14, 2016 – Expanded by more than 20 components, Leuze electronic presents its product range in the area of safe relays and safe controls and shows itself to be a competent partner for efficient safety at work:

With the new safety relays, many smaller safety tasks can be solved. From the monitoring of simple components, such as E-STOP or safety switches, to the integration of optoelectronic sensors or standstill monitoring of motors: with the 22.5 mm housings, the relays have a compact design and can be installed in the switch cabinet in a space-saving manner. Modules with adjustable time delay and contact extensions round out the offering.

With the new safe controls of the MSI 400 product family, Leuze electronic offers both 24 inputs/outputs as well as an Ethernet interface and integrated industrial Ethernet protocol such as Profibus and Ethernet IP in a likewise compact design of just 45 mm. The safety controls are suitable both for the safe monitoring of simple safety functions as well as for performing more complex safety tasks. In addition, the controls can be flexibly expanded to up to 116 safe inputs and 56 safe outputs.

With the MSI.designer programming software, the project planner can easily configure each application of the safety circuit. For logic programming, an extensive library of up to 40 certified function modules is available. Up to 300 of these can be freely integrated per project by means of drag & drop.
