HBM offers advanced torque calibration services

HBM Test and Measurement's new DAkkS (national accreditation body for the Federal Republic of Germany) accredited torque calibration machine is the only commercial system of its kind that enables short delivery times.

The manufacturers and users of motor test benches tend to only accept DAkkS calibration certificates from accredited calibration laboratories. In this case, they have to expect long delivery times. However, speed is a key competitive factor in project management. HBM Test and Measurement (HBM) by contrast offers calibration in the in-house accredited calibration laboratory to allow short delivery times.

HBM's torque calibration machine is DAkkS-accredited (per ISO 17025) from 30 kN•m to 400 kN•m. Therefore, the HBM calibration laboratory now covers the complete range of the company's portfolio of torque products ranging from 0.5 kN•m to 400 kN•m.

The new reference machine is vertically aligned and enables both clockwise and counterclockwise torque to be calibrated in compliance with the recognized standards DIN 51309 and VDI2646. With a proven measurement uncertainty of 0.1% and the international recognition of the calibration certificates, HBM creates a decisive competitive advantage.
