InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik
The Dresden-based company InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik is a specialist for products and services in the field of infrared technology. The privately held company was founded in 1991. Today, it is a fully integrated company with its own departments of development, production, service and distribution, employing about 200 highly-qualified specialists. In order to coordinate activities in the chief markets Europe, North America and Asia InfraTec has established several international subsidiaries. Additionally, the company operates within an international distribution network.
Expertise and Flexibility to Serve Specific Needs
The business unit of the infrared sensor division produces custom-made components on more than 1.000 m² of clean room space – especially pyroelectric infrared detectors – for clients worldwide. Based on a modular design a broad range of detector types, customized measurement tasks can be realized through an organized manufacturing in clusters with reduced development effort and shorter development time. Longstanding experience of R&D colleagues, technologists and constructors provides high-quality customer support comparable to essential protective measures of human life in the security engineering market segment.
Solutions for Most Various Measurement Tasks
Spectrally single and multi channel infrared detectors count among the products of the infrared sensor division. One of the latest innovations regarding this group is a series of miniaturized multichannel detectors – the LRM series. Their models provide up to eight measurement channels. The most obvious of their features is a robust central window in the cap, enabling a huge FOV.
A further solution matching most demanding measurement tasks are a group of infrared sensors with electrically tunable filters based on MOEMS. These FPI detectors enable the measurement of unknown gases as well as to measure several gases at one time with a single detector.
Users can apply InfraTec products for use in industrial and medical gas analysis, fire and flame sensor technology, spectroscopy and non-contact temperature measurement.
